H Pylori Test Kit is Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDTs) are medical tests designed to and detect the presence of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) bacteria in a patient’s body. H. pylori is a bacterium that linked to a number of gastrointestinal disorders, including gastritis, peptic ulcers, and, in some cases, stomach cancer. It can colonize and infect the stomach lining.
These rapid diagnostic tests are point-of-care tests, meaning they can performed on-site by healthcare providers, and they provide quick results, usually within minutes. H. pylori RDTs often use in clinical settings, outpatient clinics, and primary care facilities to aid in the diagnosis of H. pylori infection.
There are two main types of H pylori Rapid Diagnostic Tests:
- pylori test Antigen Rapid Test kit : This test detects the presence of H pylori antigens in a patient’s stool sample.
- The test based on the principle of immunochromatography, where specific antibodies react with H. pylori antigens, resulting in a visible line on the test strip if the bacteria are present.
- H. pylori Antibody Rapid Test: This test detects antibodies produced by the patient’s immune system in response to an H. pylori infection. It typically requires a blood sample, and similar to the antigen test, it utilizes immunochromatography to provide quick results.
